Orlando Exchange

Just a few words on my families driving experience in Orlando. If you don’t know Orlando you will get lost.

This is particularly true if you are from the western United States. The entire state of Florida is a swamp, except

where it’s been filled with enough dirt to raise that which humans build above the water. What this means is you can’t

look for the big mountain peak off to the north, south, east or west. No my friends all you will see are the nondescript

strip malls  or trees that block your view more strip malls and trees. Unless you never get further than 2000 feet from Disney World you will be sorely lacking in visual landmarks to find your direction. Toll roads with no exits for miles. City streets that drop you into the parking lots of top secret defense contractors. No my friends get the car with the GPS and ask the agent to make sure that the destinations you are seeking are pre-programmed in.

It is -15 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I WANT OUT. Orlando would be the perfect escape. I know it sounds commercially self serving since I am the site admin. Never mind the fact that it is part of my job to promote Orlando. Never mind that every one of you that makes a formal request for further information on an Orlando Florida vacation puts money in my pocket.

• Play golf(Can’t expense this one)

• Thaw my appendages

• Sneak down to Ft. Lauderdale for some diving

• Write this in an unordered list

I am telling you it is time to vacate the rockies for a while.
It’s easy for me to justify the trip. ” I need to generate new content for the website and other offline ad campaigns.” “Hey boss time to loosen the marketing and advertising budget.”
I’ll get a 2 bedroom condo even though I don’t really need one. The 2 bedroom comes in handy for impressing the girl I invited back to my place that was waiting on me at the aforementioned “steakhouse”. One thing I am doing this trip is going back to Gatorland.Gatorland is definately cool.
